The International Change Federation (ULUDEF), established in Istanbul in 2017, is a non-governmental organization that aims to contribute to the conscious positive change of societies and the world, based on individual change.
Starting in 2018, ULUDEF expanded its activities to international platforms. Through its representatives in Turkey and abroad, it aims to raise awareness on the following topics in its events:
- Conscious positive change should be ensured; not all changes are positive.
- Tools of change should be used for achieving global peace.
- Positive change tools should be identified and conveyed to individuals.
- Change begins with the individual and spreads to society.
- The inner change of the individual leads to external change.

Pop music concerts, dances, gift sapling distributions and collective breathing exercises were followed by speeches on environmental awareness. The center of the celebrations was in Nişantaşı Art Park in Istanbul. On the same day, celebrations were held in nearly 100 cities across Turkey and abroad with the same activities. Celebrations were held with the theme of Change in Environmental Awareness:
ULUDEF “As human beings, we are responsible for the lives of all living things. Human beings change according to the environment they live in. People who exist in a natural and healthy environment lead a natural and healthy life.
Soil, water, fire (sun) and air, which are the 4 basic elements of living life, are the guarantee of the continuity of life. These elements that give life to living beings have started to turn into elements that take life with the negative movement of change. The soil is either being polluted or being dragged towards the sea by shifts and disappearing. Pollution in our seas has increased so much that marine life is now facing extinction. Underground drinking water is under threat from global warming. With the depletion of the ozone layer, the sun’s rays are no longer a source of life but a source of death. The air we breathe is poisoning us with every breath due to the toxic gases released.
The natural habitat of human beings is not cities surrounded by concrete and technology, but the lap of nature. Either we return to our natural habitat or we will perish! Therefore, it is time to change environmental awareness. Returning to the natural habitat is the last resort for all species. We will keep the issue on the agenda.”
ULUDEF also thanked all municipalities, private and legal entities that supported the celebrations throughout the country: Şisli Municipality, Ankara Çankaya Municipality, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Adana Metropolitan Municipality, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Tekirdağ Buyukşehir Municipality, Bodrum Municipality, Gölcük Municipality, Antalya, Bursa, Marmaris, Samsun, Çorlu…., Hayat Su for distributing water to the participants in Izmir, Forestry Regional Directorates in Istanbul, Izmir, Adana and especially Istanbul, Izmir and Adana for providing free saplings, flowers and seed pens to the public.”

July 7 World Change Day celebrated
July 7th World Change Day, organized by the International Federation for Change (ULUDEF), was celebrated with events in various cities in Turkey and around the world.
With the theme “Change Starts with Breath”, World Change Day celebrations took place all over the world on July 7th in parks, public green spaces and in cooperation with municipalities. The celebrations, which took place for the first time this year with enthusiasm accompanied by various activities, breath of change exercises, music and dance performances, were open to everyone and promoted. The importance of change was explained. The celebrations at home and abroad reached thousands of people, everyone breathed in and out for change. The organization was realized in cooperation with municipalities.
THE FLAME MAY START
The organizers stated that change is necessary for the development, progress and integration of the world, societies and individuals, and that for this, one must start with oneself, and that the most effective tool is breathing: “If we want the world to change, wars to end, the future to be filled with hope, we must start by changing ourselves. The most effective tool for this is breath. It is the most important action that changes people in a positive, positive and healthy way both physically, emotionally and mentally. We can all achieve the state of being healthy, well, happy and positive through breathing. Everyone breathes in and out; by changing the way one breathes, one can cause positive and radical changes within oneself. Society is made up of individuals, when the individual reflects his/her inner well-being outward, the society will heal, thus the environment will heal and the world will heal. Everyone wants to change, wants the world to change in a positive way. But why can’t people change? In order to find the answer to these questions, on World Change Day, we offer an effective change key to humanity.” (İHA)
