World Change Day exists to celebrate change and to evaluate the steps we can take to make our world a better place. This special day reminds us of the power of change both individually and collectively.
The International Change Federation declared in 2018 that July 7th would be celebrated annually as World Change Day. Since then, every July 7th, we organize public, free events to raise awareness about conscious change. This year, celebrations are taking place in many cities both domestically and internationally.
Tools of Change:
Music, dance, laughter, and breath.
Awareness is part of individuality. However, the societal imposition of personality, status, and prestige suppresses individuality, causing the individual to adopt a rigid personality. For awareness to develop, this rigid personality must soften and relax, allowing the true individuality beneath the artificial personality to emerge.
Therefore, World Change Day celebrations always include music and dance because these two elements help soften rigid patterns, allowing individuals to free themselves from their imposed personalities and reconnect with their true individuality.
As individuals approach their individuality, they focus on their breath through breathing exercises, balancing the body and mind. The impact of internal and external stimuli diminishes, and the light of awareness begins to shine.
The light of awareness enlightens individuals, fills them with self-confidence, and awakens their potentials. Individuals take action to make both themselves and the world a better place.
We celebrate the positive and transformative power of change.
Change is an inevitable and constant part of life. Although it may sometimes seem challenging and frightening, change is actually the key to growth, innovation, and a better future. Every individual, every society, and every nation grows, learns, and progresses through change.
Today, as individuals, we should ask ourselves: How can we become better people? How can we contribute more to our environment, society, and the world? What steps can we take to build a more sustainable, just, and peaceful world while facing global challenges?
As we seek answers to these questions, we must remember to discover and bring to life the potential within each of us. Every change, whether small or large, that we make can create significant impacts on a global scale.
The key to individual awareness is the breath.
Societies are made up of individuals; if there are individuals, there is society. If we want to change societies and the world, we must start with the individual. When individuals change, society also changes. The key to individual awareness and change is the breath. We all breathe constantly, either consciously or unconsciously. When we start breathing consciously and with awareness, we will also become aware of humanity, living spaces, and our potential future. Then, as individuals, we will find the determination and will to change ourselves positively and thereby change the society we live in.
We may encounter challenges and obstacles in the process of change. However, we must remember that every challenge presents new opportunities and learning experiences. The important thing is not to lose our determination and faith during this process. By moving together, in solidarity and cooperation, we can overcome any obstacle.
Let’s make change a way of life.
Let’s celebrate change not just as a concept, but by placing it at the center of our lives and making it a way of life. Let’s take on the responsibility of changing ourselves, each other, and our world for the better. With each of our contributions, let’s step towards a brighter and more hopeful future.
As we celebrate World Change Day, let’s strengthen our belief in the power of change and spread this belief. Let’s work together for a better world.
Happy World Change Day!
