Proclaimed by the International Change Federation (ULUDEF) in 2018 and celebrated annually on July 7, World Change Day was marked on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, with events held in over 100 cities domestically and internationally.
The theme for the 2021 celebrations was “Everyone on Board for Global Change.” Efforts are ongoing to have this special day included in UNESCO’s list of International Days.
Officials from the International Change Federation shared the following statement regarding the 2021 celebrations:
“This special day was established by the International Change Federation in 2018 to promote the conscious transformation of individuals, society, and the world, and it has been celebrated with great enthusiasm worldwide each year.
This year’s celebrations featured free public events held in more than 100 cities across Turkey and around the globe on Wednesday, July 7. Significant awareness was created around the theme of the year, ‘Everyone on Board for Global Change.’ The events took place mainly in public squares and parks, with additional activities held in natural settings. Celebrations included concerts, dances, transformational breathing exercises, and speeches aimed at raising awareness about positive personal transformation. The events received substantial support from municipalities.
Internationally, activities were organized in countries such as the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Azerbaijan.
Domestically, events were held in cities across Turkey, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya, Eskişehir, Denizli, Bursa, Tekirdağ, Gölcük, Çorlu, Samsun, Marmaris, and Bodrum, among many others.”
The International Change Federation extended its heartfelt gratitude to all municipalities and private and public entities that supported the nationwide celebrations. Officials stated:
